The Kewanee Elks #724 has named Lillian Wigant and William Ly as the November Teens of the Month.

Wigant is the daughter of Lucas and Rachel Wigant. A senior at Galva High School, her GPA is 4.0 on a 4.0 scale. Her class rank is 1 of 28.

Wigant has four-year achievements in High Honor Roll, All-Conference academics in softball, Rotary Scholar, cheerleading and FFA. Her three-year achievements are in student council and FFA and first place in agronomy. She has two-year achievements in National Honor Society, All-Conference academics volleyball and track, NHS president, class secretary, FCA, Scholastic Team and FFA forestry.

One-year achievements include Illinois State Scholar, class treasurer, class president, student council secretary, FFA secretary, FCA group leader, musicals, second place Henry-Stark Art Show and FFA State Convention.

Her community service includes volunteering for church, school, Back Roads Music Festival, Galva Freedom Fest, St. Johns Taco takeout, Bishop Hill Ag Days and Beta Sigma Phi craft show.

Ly is the son of My Din and Michael Ly. He is a senior at Kewanee High School with a class rank of 1 out of 143 and a GPA of 4.0 on a 4.0 scale.

His four-year achievements include High Honor Roll, band, marching band, jazz band, concert band, pep band, jazz combo, soccer, Key Club, Student Council and Scholastic Team. He has a three-year achievements in all-district tenor sax, soprano sax, TRAL All-Conference sax.

He has two-year achievements in National Honor Society and all conference academic soccer, co-captain of the Scholastic Team, marching band Drum Major, musicals, ILMEA All-District alto sax, The Kewanee Voice Student Journalism Program, and KHS Robotics. His one-year achievements are Illinois State Scholar, All-Conference academic Scholastic Bowl, National Merit Scholar, National Recognition College board, class treasurer, student council president, IASC state and district liaison, soccer co-captain, Scholastic Team All-Conference and ILMEA All-State tenor sax.

His community service includes volunteering for band camp, little league soccer and Key Club events.
