Wethersfield High School’s volleyball team tool third place in their Wethersfield Invite tournament Saturday.

The Lady Geese won their first-round match over Greenview 21-19, 21-11.

Then they then lost to eventual tournament champion Elmwood 21-11, 21-17, and won over Havana 21-13. 21-18.

In the match for third place, Wethersfield topped Monmouth-Roseville 21-17, 21-17.

Elmwood defeated Mercer County for the tournament title.

Wethersfield’s Abigail Cabada was named to the all-tournament team.
