Get ready for two unforgettable nights of live music at Bishop Hill Creative Commons, featuring acclaimed touring artists Dylan Doyle and Kris Lager’s Big Band.
On Thursday, Oct. 23, Dylan Doyle brings his soulful blend of R&B, Americana, and funk to the stage. Doyle’s sound has been shaped by influences like Hendrix, Mayer and Bill Withers and has earned him recognition from legends such as Bill Payne of Little Feat and induction into the New York Blues Hall of Fame. The suggested donation is 20–$30.
Then on Friday, Oct. 24, Nebraska’s own Kris Lager and his big band will light up the room with their high-energy, life-affirming mix of blues, funk and soul. Known for turning every show into a joyous, communal experience, Kris brings a “Celebrate Life” spirit that gets everyone dancing. The suggested donation is 25–$35.
Both evenings begin with a community potluck at 6 p.m., followed by family-friendly concerts starting at 7 p.m. Come for the food, stay for the soul.
Join them for two nights of great music and good food in the historic village of Bishop Hill.
Seating is limited. For tickets and more information please visit XRoadsCC.org/events.
