Annawan-Wethersfield’s baseball team remains undefeated after an 11-4 win at Morrison Wednesday.

The Titans scored five runs in the top of the second inning, which would have been enough to win. But they put the game away with a five-run sixth inning, and tacked on a final run in the seventh.

Brody Childs led the Titans offense, going 3 for 4 with three RBIs. Colin Hornback drove in two runs. 

Also getting RB!s were Maddux Heitzler. Koeyn Keane and Nic Thurston.

The host Mustang plated two runs each in the third and sixth innings.

Dillon Horrie went six innings on the mound. giving up three earned runs while striking out three and walking three.

Caleb MgGill pitched the seventh for the Titans.

The win brings Annawan-Wethersfield’s season record to 7-0-1. Their next games are Saturday in Lincoln, against Lincoln and Taylorville.
