The Annawan-Wethersfield baseball team went on the road Thursday to Peoria Heights and come home with a 10-2 victory.

The Titans were ahead 4-0 by the bottom of the third inning when the Patriots scored a couple to cut the A-W lead in half.

But that was the last time the home team would dent the plate, and the Titans put the game away with a five-run sixth inning.

Zeb Rashid, Nic Thurston and Dillon Horrie drove in two runs apiece.

Horrie and Kellan Keane each gave up one of the Patriots’ runs. Keane had four strikeouts and walked no one in his three innings on the mound.

The Titans are now 12-5-1 on the season.
