The AW Titans track team Wednesday hosted a fresh-soph meet. For those who couldn’t make it, here’s a breakdown: 

Sophomore Ashley Oliver runs in the 800 meters.

Overall team scores: Girls got second place with 126 points and the boys got third place with 78 points. 

In girls field events, they placed second in shot, discus, high jump and pole vault. Also in pole vault, freshman Abbey Carman placed first.

In boys field events, the Titans placed second in shot. 

For boys, the Titans got third in the 800 meters and second in the 4×1. Oscar Cepeda-Lopez, sophomore, won first place in both the 200 and the 100 meters. 

Sophomore Layne Seiden runs in the 4×200 relay.

The boys also placed fourth in the 4×4 relay. Max Birdsong, freshman, placed fourth in the 300m hurdles and fifth in the 110m hurdles.

In girls running events, Annawan-Wethersfield got second place in the 4×100, 4×200, and 4×400. Freshman Lucy Landwehr placed first in the 800 meters.

Abbey Carman placed first in the 400, as well as third in the 100. Melanie Lopez, freshman, placed second in the mile and third in the 1600.
