The third annual Walk for Angel Babies will take place Saturday, Oct. 4, from 1 to 2 p.m. on the track at Galva Jr./Sr. High School located at 1020 N. Center Ave.

The event raises awareness for stillbirth, pregnancy and infant loss, and supports the Rorie Mae Foundation, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides financial and emotional assistance to families who have experienced such losses.

Participants are encouraged to walk at their own pace and comfort level. In case of rain, the event will be moved indoors. Monetary donations will be accepted during the walk.

Time Out Pub and Grub will be catering and serving food from noon to 3 p.m., while supplies last. A bake sale, 50/50 raffle and live auction will be held in the school cafeteria. The bake sale and raffle begin at 12:30 p.m., followed by the live auction at 2:30 p.m., led by Auctioneer Travis Spivey. The auction will feature a variety of donated items.
