Students, faculty and parents from both Kewanee and Wethersfield school districts proudly set about making signs and decorations that they hope will propel their two teams to victory.

Both the Annawan-Wethersfield Titans and the Kewanee Boilermakers will enter the first round of IHSA Football Playoffs within a few days.

The Boilermakers with a record of 8-1, will meet Peoria Notre Dame (5-4) on the field at the KHS stadium. Gates open at 5:30 pm and kick off will be at 7 pm.

The Titans, with a record of 8-1, will host Deer Creek Mackinaw (5-4) on Saturday at 1 pm.
