
Zeb Rashid gave up just one run and two hits in his 4 2/3 innings on the mound, as the Annawan-Wethersfield Titans picked up a conference win, 3-1, over Abingdon-Avon Tuesday.
The Titans scored single runs in each of the first three innings of the home game.
Annawan-Wethersfield had just three hits on the day, one apiece from Maddux Heitzler, Rashid and Brody Childs.
Heitzler took the mound to get the final out in the fifth inning and closed out the game allowing no hits, striking out two and walking one.
The Titans are now 11-4-1 on the season.
