The Kewanee Voice is launching a brief community survey to better understand how residents feel about quality of life in Kewanee and across Henry County.

According to the most recent census, Henry County is home to roughly 48,000 people, with Kewanee as the largest city at about 12,000 residents.

Quality of life is widely recognized as a key measure of a community’s overall health because it reflects how well a city meets the physical, social, economic and environmental needs of its residents.

Research shows that communities that prioritize quality of life often see stronger civic engagement, better public health and more stable long‑term growth — all factors that contribute to a thriving, resilient community.
