A new section has been added to The Kewanee Voice website that will allow readers to announce and share special events with the community.

A Milestones & Memories tab has been added across the top of the website and features a drop-down menu where readers will be able to share milestone birthdays for those turning 50 or over, engagement announcements, wedding announcements and milestone anniversaries.

Readers will be able to fill out a user-friendly form and upload a photo to the website to publish with the announcement. A write up of the announcement will then appear on the website within a few days.

A $40 donation to The Voice is being asked for the announcements and the donation can be made using either a PayPal account or debit or credit card.

“After requests were received asking us for a way to publicly announce special events, we turned to our web design firm, Team WTI. We think the process is fast and easy and believe that the community will enjoy reading about and celebrating residents’ special moments,” said Susan DeVilder, managing editor.
