Save-a-lot recently turned over the proceeds of a weeks-long round up campaign aimed at raising money for the Kewanee Chamber of Commerce’s Fourth of July fireworks display.

In all, $2,500 was raised through customer donations to help offset the estimated display cost of $15,000. A check was presented to Park District Executive Director Andrew Dwyer by Save-a-lot Assistant Store Manager Ben Brackett.

Kewanee’s Save-a-lot grocery store frequently holds round up fundraisers to help area nonprofit organizations.
