Live reindeers will be on display at this year’s Holly Jolly Festival

Wethersfield High School Student Council is set to once again spread some holiday cheer by hosting its Holly Jolly Festival on Sunday, Dec. 7, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Blish Parking Lot outside the high school.

The family-friendly event will feature Christmas music entertainment, a ceramics sale by the WHS Art Department, and a variety of festive activities for children and adults. General admission is $5, with free entry for adults 18 and over accompanying a paying child.

Highlights of the festival include:

  • Cookie decorating and take-home Christmas crafts
  • Hot cocoa and treats available for purchase
  • Kids train rides and popcorn for $1
  • Free children’s games and a bouncy house
  • Face painting and hair tinsel stations
  • Live reindeer and a visit from Santa Claus

Kids will also have the opportunity to capture holiday memories with Santa and photos will be available for purchase at $5.
