After the devastation caused by a tornado that ripped through Kewanee Monday, two organizations have come together to help victims.

The Kewanee Salvation Army announced Wednesday that the agency has joined with the Kewanee Area United Way to provide relief services that include food, water, cleaning products, baby supplies, hygiene items and clothing.

In addition to those items, the two agencies will offer temporary emergency shelter and emergency financial assistance in the form of gift cards to help purchase or replace items like food that has been lost due to a power outage. Gift cards are also available to use on purchasing prescription medications.
