
Kewanee High School’s sophomore team improved to 10-8 on the season with two wins last week.
The Riveters went to Sterling last week and defeated Newman Central Catholic’s Comets’ JV squad 47-36 behind 12 points from Dayvon Robinson and 11 from Chris Crowe. Jesus Martinez added 9 in the victory.
The Riveters also got a road victory on Tuesday against Princeton’s JV squad, beating the Tigers 41-28.
Dayvon Robinson and Chris Crowe led the scoring with 15 and 9 respectively. Leeam Slover and Isaiah Ince added 6 apiece.
