Courses in phlebotomy, genealogy, and food protection are being offered in May at the Black Hawk College Community Education Center in downtown Kewanee.

Food Protection Manager Certification– Tuesday, May 9 and Thursday, May 11 from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. Cost is $159. Certification exams will be given during the class.
Phlebotomy Technician – Tuesdays and Thursdays, May 16 to June 8, from 6-9:30 pm and June 13-22 from 6-9 pm. Cost is $765. National Certified Phlebotomy Technician (NCPT) certification exam is available upon successful completion of the class.
Genealogy Workshop– Wednesday, May 17 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 pm. Cost is $29.
