Meet Simba, a handsome, blue‑eyed Ragdoll cat who’s just over a year old—and he’s ready to charm his way into someone’s heart.
This 14.2‑pound “gentle giant” came to the shelter about a month ago after his previous family grew concerned for his safety. Their other cat had taken to picking on him, and they wanted to make sure Simba could find a home where he’d feel secure and loved.
With his striking blue eyes and soft cream‑and‑brown coat, Simba is a showstopper. True to his breed, he’s full of personality—affectionate and sweet, but with a mind of his own. He loves attention when he’s in the mood for it, and he’ll politely let you know when he’s reached his limit.
Simba gets along well with other animals and lights up when he’s freed from his kennel to play with toys or mingle with his furry friends. He’s intelligent, quick to learn routines (especially mealtime), and fairly quiet—making him a great fit for a family home or apartment.
His medium‑long hair will need occasional brushing to keep that silky coat looking its best, but he’s otherwise low‑maintenance.
Simba is fully vetted—neutered, microchipped, flea‑treated, dewormed, and up to date on his rabies and FVRCP vaccines.
If you’d like to meet this striking Ragdoll, stop by the shelter during business hours or call 309‑852‑0040 to schedule a visit. His adoption fee is $60.
