As the crisp autumn air settles over Kewanee, Mother Nature has finally painted our trees in stunning shades of red and gold. This vibrant display marks the peak of fall colors, and this weekend would be a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the spectacular seasonal beauty firsthand.
But the breathtaking scenery isn’t the only draw this weekend. The undefeated Annawan/Wethersfield Titans are charging ahead in the state football playoffs, providing the perfect excuse for a scenic road trip. Head a little over an hour away to Deer Creek/Mackinaw High School in Tazewell County while soaking in the beautiful fall foliage and, more importantly, cheering on the boys to another victory! The game starts at 3 p.m.
If music is what you are looking for then Sunday evening the Bishop Hill Creative Commons will be the site of a concert from acclaimed pianist Radoslav Lorkovic at 7 p.m. with a potluck and social beforehand at 6 p.m.
