Only six days are left to register for the annual Hog Days parade. The 71st parade is set to step off on Saturday, Aug. 31 at 2 p.m.

The parade route begins at the Kewanee High School parking lot and ends about a mile away on West Central Boulevard.

Entries into the parade can be made several ways. Participants can pick up an entry form at the Kewanee Chamber of Commerce office, located at 113 E. Second St., or by registering online here.

Entry forms are due Monday, Aug. 19 and the Kewanee Chamber of Commerce is urging entrants not to delay.

The Hog Days Festival is scheduled for Aug. 30-Sept. 2, 2024.
