By mid-morning, several dozen residents and customers had stopped by for a piece of cake, punch and summer giveaways such as sunglasses, frisbees, cups, sunscreen and hacky sacks. Tours of the facility were also provided.

The bank has been renovated both inside and out, including an additional parking strip at the front of the building to make the lobby more accessible to customers. The drive-thru lanes also went through some restructuring, said Nichelle Morey, Director of Marketing. Morey is also celebrating her 20th year with the bank.

In addition to the outside improvements, the space inside was opened up, allowing for the addition of three new offices. The kitchen was moved towards the back of the building, leaving space for Morey’s new office and a marketing storage area.

This Friday also saw the return of Popcorn Friday, a favorite with the bank’s customers. The machine was in the lobby and employees made up bags to give out.
