K-Town Real Estate is building the D’Luxe Auto Wash at 123 W. McClure St.

A news release issued by the company this week said the car wash is scheduled to open April 1. It will have two identical wash bays and include new state-of-the-art, touchless car wash equipment from Petit Auto Wash Equipment.  

The 360-iXT equipment allows for 9’10” height clearance, dual rear-tire trucks, and up to 23-foot vehicle length.  

Each bay will have Turbo dryer units and can wash an average of 15 vehicles per hour per bay.  

“Users can expect shorter wait times, better reliability, wash technology that adjusts to the height of each vehicle to achieve optimum cleaning, and no brushes to damage your vehicle,” the news release said.

Optional memberships will allow users to pay a monthly rate for one wash every 24 hours for a designated vehicle.  

While each vehicle will require its own membership, fleet pricing memberships will also be made available to businesses based on annual usage estimates. Four vacuum stations with dual booms will also be available.  

Available wash cycles include:

* Basic wash — single wash only

• Underbody wash
• Two pre-soaks
• High-pressure rinse
• Spot rinse
• Also available will be a triple foam wash, which will include all basic wash items, rust inhibitor. triple foam wash, clear coat and turbo dryers.
• A ceramic wash option will include all basic wash and triple foam wash Items as well as a ceramic coat finish (to provide a long-lasting shine).

Construction of the car wash is under way and equipment is scheduled for delivery in early March for a targeted opening around April 1.
