Kewanee is ready for Christmas and residents have truly decked the halls. All around town, homeowners filled with the holiday spirit, have decorated and illuminated their yards, all in anticipation of Dec. 25.

From Northeast Park to Windmont and places in between, the town is awash with color and beauty. The Kewanee Voice would like to wish our readers from Kewanee, Galva, Bishop Hill, Annawan, Atkinson, Cambridge, Neponset and wherever you are, a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and safe New Year!

The Kewanee Voice will be giving its staff and writers the holiday weekend off so they can enjoy the time with their friends and families, but we’ll be back on Tuesday, Dec. 26 with all of the news, information and sports that you have come to rely on.
