The Kewanee Boilers played a hard game when visiting the Mendota Trojans in the conference championship on Thursday night.

Mendota put up a lot of pressure on their home field; but the Boilermakers kept up a good fight.

At the end of the match the score was Kewanee 0-5 Mendota.

“I am very proud of my team, they never gave up, they fought every time for the ball. We are second place in the conference tournament,” said Coach Jesus Bermudez.

On Saturday the Boilermakers visited Oregon High School and lost 1-4.
