The Kewanee Elks #724 announced the selection of Kerigan Lewis and Brody Childs at their October “Teens of the Month.”

Kerigan is the daughter of Mike and Dawn Lewis. A senior at Cambridge High School, she has a GPA is 3.974 on a 4.0 scale, and her class rank is 1 of 28. Her four-year achievements include High Honor Roll, All-Conference Academics in basketball, volleyball and softball, co-captain of the basketball and volleyball teams, Spanish Club, student council and FCCLA. She has two-year achievements in National Honor Society, FFA and honorable mention All-Conference.

Her community service includes volunteering for Christmas cards, raffles, pancake breakfast, cancer fundraising, QC Youth conference, Honor Flight Benefit and Youth Basketball Camp.

Brody is the son of Brian and Rachel Childs. He is a senior at Annawan High School with a class rank is seven of 28 with a GPA 3.9 on a 4.0 scale. He has four-year achievements in High Honor Roll, All-Conference Academic football and basketball, FCA and FFA. He has three-year achievements in National Honor Society and track, and two-year achievements in student council, track co-captain and baseball.

He has one-year achievements as class secretary, FFA Sentinel and basketball and football co-captain.

His community service includes volunteering for Kiwanis Pancake Day, refereeing and assisting with the consignment sale.
