National Night Out is an annual event held by participating police departments all over the country on the first Tuesday of August. The community event was created to enhance the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement, while bringing back a true sense of community. The annual community-building campaign is an opportunity to bring police and residents together under positive circumstances.
