Kewanee runners competed in the Gary Coates Invitational cross country meet Saturday at Zearing Park in Princeton.

In the boys three-mile race, Jason Rusk ran the three-mile course in 18:33.52 and finished 17th.

Kewanee’s Chase Palm was 20th in a time of 18:41.35.

Natalee Martin was the first Kewanee finisher in the girls three-mile race, placing 10th in 21:20.16.

Nolie Charlet of KHS ran the course in 23:00.03, good for 22nd place. And Alejandra Martinez finished 35th with a time of 24:55.07.

In the boys 1.94-mile frosh-soph race, Hunter Vancil of KHS placed 10th in a time of 12:20.62.
