On Dec. 21 Kewanee High School hosted its fourth annual competitive dance competition in Brockman Gym.

Kewanee High School hosted Galva High School, Geneseo High School, Rockridge High School, Knoxville High School, Fieldcrest High School, LaSalle-Peru High School, two teams from Bureau Valley High School and two teams from Canton High School.

The efforts of these teams paid off in their performances. The limited range between the top scores demonstrated the tournament’s collective talent, with the top five schools decided by 2.87 points. 

The dancers performed their hearts out for the audience, showing and executing twelve performances. 

The Boilerettes in particular showed their tenacity and dedication in their dance to the song “Bye, Bye, Bye” by NSYNC.
