A pride walk down the halls of Kewanee High School was the first order of business for the KHS Group Interpretation team. The GI team, led by the KHS band, was accompanied through the halls of the high school on Thursday before loading onto a bus and making their way to the IHSA State Drama Competition in Sterling.

The GI team will perform Friday, March 22 at 4:45 p.m. at Challand Middle School. This will make the 18th year in the row that the KHS GI theater has gone on to compete in the state competition. The team, directed by Heather Olalde, will perform Barbie, also adapted by Olalde from the blockbuster summer movie.
