Kewanee High School seniors, Hope Peed and Eleanor Burkhart, participated in the Girls 1A Pontiac Golf Sectional Monday at Wolf Creek Golf Course. 

Burkhart carded a 101 and finished in 42nd place. Peed shot a 106 and placed 59th. The cut to advance in individual play was a 93.

Gracie Russell of Cambridge, playing for the Ridgewood co-op, shot a 79 and placed fourth. Russell is one of ten individuals advancing to the state finals. 

Ella Coulter, a senior from Peoria Notre Dame, shot a 2 under par 70 to claim medalist honors.
