The Kewanee High School freshmen won their third game of the season against Erie-Prophetstown, 55-53.

They trailed by one at the half but then fought their way to a solid lead going into the fourth quarter.

The Boilers struggled at the free throw line, which made it difficult to sustain a comfortable lead, Coach Trenton Terry said, but were still able to pull it out in the end.

Leading scorers were Dane Vandevelde with 15, along with Kyden Jones and Abe Diaz, and Alexander Ocampo with 9 apiece.
