The KHS bowling team competed in the varsity and junior varsity Galesburg Invite in Abingdon on Saturday. 

The varsity team placed fourth out of seven teams, falling short of third place by 16 pins.

Bowling for Kewanee’s varsity were Alyssa Mannella, Breanna Nebinger, Abigail Nebinger, Kristina Quanstrom and Sofia Soleto. Junior varsity bowlers Nyla Green and Emerie Bloome.

Bloome received the high game medal for the JV division. Nebinger placed 12th for high game in the varsity division with a personal best of 189. 

Leading Kewanee was Quanstrom with a six-games series of 777, followed by Sotelo with a 716.
