The KHS girls bowling team held their first dual meet at Pin Splitter Lanes in Princeton, facing United Township and Canton. 

The Boiler Girls earned their first win of the season against Canton by 165 pins (1485-1320), but fell short to United Township by 196 pins (1966-2162). 

Senior Kristina Quanstrom led Kewanee with a 461 series and a high game of 170, followed by junior Sofia Sotelo with a 412 series and a high game of 186.  

The KHS bowlers have a home dual Wednesday vs. Ottawa at 4 p.m., and are hosting the 45th annual Anel Dura Invitational on Saturday at 9 a.m.
