Kewanee High School is sending two golfers to the girls sectional, following Thursday’s regional tournament at Midland Country Club.

Hope Peed placed fourth overall with a score of 93, and Eleanor Burkhart sixth, shooting 94.

Gracie Russell of Ridgewood also advanced, after shooting 83.

Hannah Graves of Rockridge was the day’s medalist with a score of 78.

Other area golfers competing were Laylah Kraft and Elizabeth McGill, both of Annawan-Wethersfield, with 109 each; CJ Richards of Stark County, 110; Olivia Orwig of Stark County, 114; Anna Nagode of Stark County, 122; Elleora Eastman, Annawan-Wethersfield, 123; Tori Connor, Galva, 123; Katie Attig, Annawan-Wethersfield, 124; Traiden Hier, Annawan-Wethersfield, 132; Lauren Orwig, Stark County, 133; Maeve Colgan, Stark County, 135; Lauren Best, Stark County, 135; Olivia Calderon, Galva, 146; Hallie Anderson, Galva, 149; and Charlotte Burkhart, Kewanee, 166.
