Damaris Diaz of the Kewanee High School Boiler Girls basketball team was a unanimous selection for first-team all-conference honors.

Diaz was one of four players picked unanimously by the head coaches of the six Three Rivers Athletic Conference East Division schools.

The other unanimous selections were Keightly Davis of Princeton and Gisselle Martin and Lucy Oetting of Sterling Newman.

Rounding out the six first-team all-conference players were Payton Brandt of Princeton and Aubrey Hulsman of Erie-Prophetstown.

Kewanee’s Audrey Clucas and Bailey VanWinkle were second-team all-conference selections.

Newman finished in first place in the East Division with a conference record of 9-1 inside of an overall record of 26-6.

The Boiler Girls ended the season in second place in the East Division with a conference record of 7-3. They were 18-13 overall on the season.
