A traffic accident involving a vehicle driven by Alejo A. Paredes Alquezada, 62, Kewanee, that struck a parked vehicle owned by Jason M. Motley, 48, Kewanee, was reported in the 300 block of McKinley Avenue. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

Caleb M. Stiefel, 26, Mineral, was issued a citation for operating a vehicle while registration suspended for non insurance following a traffic stop at Central Boulevard and Vine Street. He was given a notice to appear.
