A traffic accident involving a vehicle driven by Jacob R. Dailey, 21, Kewanee, that struck a parked vehicle owned by Aaron J. Sherbeyn, 44, Kewanee, was reported in the 100 block of South Chestnut Street. No citations were issued and no injuries were reported.

Police responded to a report of a traffic accident involving a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old female that struck a pedestrian in the 1000 block of West South Street. The pedestrian was taken to OSF Saint Luke Medical Center by Kewanee EMS. The 17-year-old female was issued a citation for failure to reduce to speed to avoid an accident. She was given a notice to appear.
