The Kewanee Boilermakers softball team dominated Hall in an away contest on Monday. After just four innings, the 10-run rule was applied, bringing Hall’s chances to a close.

Kewanee was able to rack-up a whopping 17 hits, and held Hall to two hits. Many players contributed to the win in an all around team effort at the plate. Makaela Salisbury led the team with three hits and one RBI.

Ava LaFollette and Tori Dennison had two hits and two RBIs each. Kalleigh Gale had two hits and one RBI. Marissa Stevens also had two hits. McKensey Stontz had one hit, a home-run, that resulted in three RBIs. Hope Peed also had one hit and three RBIs. Addison Gerard, Hannah Tiska and Cheyanne Rodgers each had one hit and one RBI. Lexi Dillender also added a hit.

Salisbury started on the mound and pitched the complete game for the Boilermakers. She was able to hold Hall to two hits and collected two strikeouts.
