A traffic accident involving a vehicle driven by a 16-year-old male that struck a pole was reported in the 1500 block of Burlington Avenue. The 16-year-old male was taken to OSF St. Luke by EMS. He was issued citations for failure to reduce speed to avoid accident, operating an uninsured vehicle, illegal transportation of alcohol, failure to wear seatbelt, and GDL outside time restrictions. He was given a notice to appear.
