The Kewanee girls track team edged out Sherrard for second place at the Rock Falls Indoor Track Invitational Monday at Westwood Fitness and Sports Center in Sterling. 

Girls team results: 1.) Fulton (99 points) 2.) Kewanee (81.5) 3.) Sherrard (81) 4.) Rock Falls (73.5) 5.) Sterling (Newman Central Catholic) – 68 6.) Prophetstown (26)

Tejhiana Amos placed second in the high jump and third in the 200m dash. Melissa Fragoso was second in the 400m dash and Nolie Charlet was second in the 800m run. 

Natalie Martin had a third place effort in the 1600m run and Dani Jo Currier placed third in the triple jump.
