The Kewanee Chamber of Commerce will hold its 42 annual Hardcore 5K on Sunday, Dec. 31 at the Flemish American Club, located at 313 N. Burr Blvd. The race begins at 1 pm.

Participants can register online at www.getmeregistered.com/hardcore5k or an entry form can be downloaded at www.kewanee-il.com/hardcore5k.php.

Homemade chili and pork sandwiches will be served to all participants following the race.

The Hardcore 5k event features door prizes, age group awards and a high quality printed commemorative sweatshirt to all participants who enter before the deadline on Dec. 27.
