Kewanee High School senior Kalleigh Gale will play women’s softball and continue her academic journey at Augustana College in Rock Island this fall. 

Augie finished the 2025 season with a 28-14 overall record and 12-4 mark in conference action. The team begins the 2026 season on March 16 at home with a doubleheader against Buena Vista.

Gale has been a member of the Kewanee High softball program for four years. The Boilers took home the conference championship in 2024.
