The holiday season is drawing near, and that means it’s almost time to gather around the table with family and friends, sharing delicious meals and cherished memories.

This year, The Kewanee Voice is excited to announce the launch of our Holiday Recipe Contest! Starting today, we invite readers to submit their best recipes for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s celebrations.

Whether it’s grandma’s secret stuffing recipe, a unique holiday dessert, or a savory dish that has become a family tradition, we want to hear from you!

To participate, simply click on the Holiday Recipe Contest graphic on our website homepage to access the submission form. This easy-to-use form allows you to share not only your recipe but also the story behind it—where you learned about it, when you typically make it, and what makes it special to you. In addition, if you wish, you can even upload a photo of your mouthwatering dish to accompany your entry!

Selected recipes will be featured in our column, “In the kitchen with Kim,” starting next week and will run through the end of the year. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the culinary talents of our community and inspire others with your favorite holiday dishes. And as a token of our appreciation, if your recipe is featured, you’ll receive a gift card from a local business.
