This tasty recipe was submitted to The Kewanee Voice Holiday Recipe contest by Amy DeFauw of Geneseo, who created the recipe as a wholesome snack for her kids. She wanted something that was both nutritious and delicious, and this dip is exactly that. Packed with protein from Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, and vanilla protein powder, it provides a filling boost to help keep hunger at bay—whether you’re enjoying it as a midday snack or serving it at a fall gathering.

Amy suggests pairing it with apple slices or graham crackers, both of which complement the creamy, spiced dip perfectly. Her family’s very favorite pairing is with Simply Mills Honey Cinnamon Sweet Thins. The pumpkin flavor brings a taste of autumn to every bite, while the honey adds just the right amount of natural sweetness.

Amy’s recipe is a great example of how you can enjoy the flavors of fall in a healthy, protein-packed way. It’s a snack that both kids and adults will love for something to fuel an active day or just a sweet, cozy treat that won’t derail any wellness goals.
