We have a new favorite dinner recipe at our house, and that is really saying something.
This Classic Creamed Chicken has quickly become a favorite of every member of our family. It is simple, comforting and comes together quickly. I have been using rotisserie chicken to save time, and the seasoning on it actually makes this dish even better. Everyone at the table is happy when this is what’s for dinner.

The flavor is rich and satisfying, the kind of meal that feels comforting. The creamy sauce is smooth and velvety with the savory flavors of butter and chicken. It is not overly heavy, but it is cozy like classic comfort food. Salt and pepper bring everything together, and if you add a pinch of garlic or onion powder, it gives it a little extra warmth. Every bite is creamy, flavorful and filling.

We prefer this served over biscuits. The biscuits hold up well and allow the creamed chicken to shine. It is also great over toast, rice or mashed potatoes, depending on what you have on hand. Give this a try and it may become a new favorite at your house too!
From our kitchen to yours — enjoy!
