S’mores, those delicious concoctions of graham crackers, melted marshmallows and decadent chocolate, are synonymous with summertime. But no need to fret if you don’t have a campfire handy – because this quick and easy recipe doesn’t happen to require one.
I found this recipe floating around on social media. As I often do, I took a screenshot of it in case I felt the urge to try it out. That urge came this week because we hadn’t had anything sweet at our house for a couple of weeks. I was very surprised at how quickly the recipe came together – in 12 minutes to be exact.

The end result was identical to the taste you would experience when biting into a S’mores that is straight from the campfire. The graham cracker cereal is mixed right in with the sweet marshmallow flavor. The chocolate on top ties the S’mores flavor all together.
My kids tried it out, and they gave this treat rave reviews. They requested that next time I add more chocolate, which is not a problem. The kids asked that I repeat this recipe frequently. It is much easier to whip up this recipe, which makes 12 servings, than it is to build a campfire.
If you have a summertime event coming up, or if you need something sweet to feed your crew, it takes under 15 minutes to make this delicious treat that everyone is sure to love and request again.
From our kitchen to yours – enjoy!
