The weekend offered residents of Kewanee a plethora of holiday events that included a Christmas concert, lunch with Santa, pony rides and a Holly Jolly festival. All of it was wrapped up in pretty Christmas paper and a bow with the annual Lighted Christmas Parade and the Lighting of Windmont and Northeast parks on Sunday, Dec. 3. The action began just after dusk.
