In just a few short days, the curtain will rise on Kewanee High School’s production of SpongeBob the Musical. The cast of SpongeBob has been hard at work the past few months preparing a show that is sure to blow audiences away.
Directed by KHS teacher Heather Olalde, SpongeBob is a story of friendship, resiliency and unity that offers a ton of laughs along the way.
Opening night is Saturday, Jan. 13 at 7 p.m. in the Petersen Auditorium at KHS. A matinee performance will run on Sunday, Jan. 14 at 2 p.m. at the same location.
Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased at the door. The cast will also be selling bubble guns for $5 so audience members can take part in the magic of the show.
