The Pottery Festival is just one activity taking place in Bishop Hill over the weekend.

The shops, restaurants and museums of Bishop Hill will be participating in a Bargain Harvest Weekend on Oct 11-12. A variety of discounts and sale offers can be found at participating businesses and restaurants during normal business hours. The participating museums will be offering crafts, video showings, or other special activities.

Visitors who collect signatures from six shops or museums will be entered into a drawing for a gift basket at the Colony Store. The drawing will be Sunday at 3:30 p.m. and it is not necessary to be present to win.

Don’t forget to check out the Pottery Festival on Saturday on the north side of the park, near PL Johnson’s. A variety of potters, crafters and others will be demonstrating and selling their wares from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. For more information on the Pottery Festival, call Jeff at 309-883-1035.
