This Sunday, May 31, kicks off the 2026 Levitt AMP Music Concert Series in Galva. Appearing this weekend will be rock and blues performers Jed Harrelson and Jon Hayes.

Harrelson is a Nashville based soul artist blending soul, rock and R&B into a sound that feels both timeless and fresh. With a fiercely independent spirit, he’s steadily built momentum through a growing catalog of releases and a reputation for emotionally charged performances. Originally from Texarkana, Harrelson sharpened his sound in the northwest Arkansas scene before making the move to Nashville, bringing with him a style rooted in groove, grit and connection.

Onstage, Harrelson delivers an experience designed to pull audiences in and keep them there. Whether performing in intimate listening rooms or on major stages like the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage, his shows strike a balance between polish and raw energy.

Hayes is an indie-folk songwriter whose music invites listeners into something real, with honest stories, thoughtful melodies, and songs that linger long after the final note. Based in Kalamazoo, Hayes has carved out a space as a deeply personal artist, writing about time, healing, and the human experience with sincerity and care.

Live, Hayes creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere where songs feel more like conversations than performances. His acoustic driven sets are quiet in the best way drawing audiences in with vulnerability, storytelling and a sense of shared experience.

Every Sunday through Aug. 9 this family-friendly concert series brings free live music to Wiley Park. All concerts begin at 6 p.m. and wrap up around 8:30 p.m.

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for comfortable lawn seating. A variety of food and non-food vendors will be on-site, and guests are also welcome to bring in outside food.
