The Kewanee Park Board will break ground later this month for a major expansion of the clubhouse at the Baker Park golf course and the public is invited to attend.

The ceremony is set for Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 2 p.m. at Baker Park.

The expansion will include construction of a large addition east of the existing clubhouse, which will accommodate events for large numbers of guests. A new parking lot off of 11th Street north of the clubhouse is planned.

There will also be updates of the 19th Hole restaurant in the clubhouse, and other additions to the facilities at the park.
